The sleepy ski town of Zakopane, Poland is getting a lot of attention this winter. This giant maze created by ice has broken the world record! The icy project covers more than eight thousand square feet, more than doubling the previous record! Forty mountaineers are cut sixty thousand snow cubes for this massive project. If you set out to navigate this labyrinth, be sure to bring a jacket! The List's Bradley Hasemeyer drifts on over to three more cool things made from snow and ice!
3. Check out this giant octopus made entirely out of solid snow! A sculpture like this takes about 500 man hours to build!
2. These are not frozen crop circles made by aliens… artist Simon Beck creates these enormous, elaborate patterns in the snow… using nothing but footprints!
1. This is a record made out of ice… and it actually plays! (NAT) This icy-cold LP was a stunt promoting a single for Swedish band 'Shout Out Louds.' Great for art… but, we're not sure if this is great for the record player.
That's a look at some super-cool art…that melts away.
