3 Hot Tips to Spice Up Your Diet Without Getting Burned

Are you looking to spice up your diet, but are scared of the heat? Hot sauce expert Vic Clinco met Jared Cotter at Z'Tejas to show us three ways to add some heats to your eats without getting burned.

1.  Prepare for the Burn

To avoid the infamous "gut bomb," don't eat something spicy on an empty stomach. Eat something starchy first. Put something in your belly so you're not blowing your stomach up.

2.  Know Your Peppers

The more that you eat spicy, the more you'll build up your tolerance, and the more you know about the peppers you are eating, the more you will enjoy them.

3.  Deal with the Burn

Grab a piece of cheese, a little bit of milk, and sugar will help you offset that burn as well.
