Tis the season for weddings and babies which means a lot of you will be setting up registries. That can be tricky so etiquette guru and author Miss Lora has tips and tricks to make it easy. She’s sharing them with our very own Donna Ruko.
1. A Lot of Choices
Keep in mind who the people are that are coming to your wedding, what they can afford and make sure you have lots of affordable, small things on there.
2. Condense Your Links
Now you can actually register yourself online at a bunch of different spots on a single website like Registry Finder. Don’t just give online options though. There’s always a catch and that is all those relatives and friends that you have who aren't online. They want to go in an actual store.
3. Think Outside the Box
People have a lot of stuff and people want experiences over things Also, cash is king! Everybody appreciates it whatever form it comes in.
4. Give Thanks
Mail a hand written note giving thanks for the gift. Remember that it is rude to send a text or an email. A lot of people put a lot of effort into getting you a gift so it's not going to take that much for you to then take an opportunity to say thank you.
