British researchers are recommending the ultimate buzzkill... Adding 'exercise equivalents' to food labels! That’s right, all labels would have the calorie count, as well as what you’ll need to do to burn those calories. Donna Ruko and Nutrition Health Coach, Lindsay Hunt, have a sneak peek at what this might look like. They are breaking down five of our favorite foods and drinks.
400 Calories = 40 Minutes of Jumping Jacks
2. Red Velvet Cupcake
496 Calories = 30 Minutes of Step-Ups
3. Glass of Red Wine
115 Calories = 12 Minutes of Jump Rope
4. Bagel with 3 Tablespoons of Cream Cheese
450 Calories = 50 Minutes of Push-Ups
5. Slice of Pepperoni Pizza
300 Calories = 30 Minutes of Burpees
That’s a look at all your favorite foods, and how much exercise it'll take to metabolize them!
