TULSA - Fifteen food trucks will converge in downtown Tulsa's Blue Dome District for the first Eat Street Festival Saturday, November 10.
Eat Street Food Festival is an event the coordinator, JoAnn Armstrong, has wanted to do for years.
"I don't know why it's taken so long," said Armstrong. "I hope Eat Street can help [food trucks] be more recognized and more known."
One of the newest trucks to roll into town is Lone Wolf. It's a Vietnamese and French fusion cuisine truck, serving banh mi, kimchi fries and beignets.
Banh mi is a Vietnamese sandwich that includes your choice of meat or tofu and topped with cucumber, cilantro, pickled carrots, daikon and aioli. Kimchi fries resemble typical American fries, but are topped with an Asian sauerkraut and your choice of aioli. Beignets are French doughnuts. Delicious!
