The Fit List: Jillian Michaels shares her top fitness tips

One of the hottest shows on TV continues to be "The Biggest Loser" where star trainer Jillian Michaels is famous for whipping those losers into shape. However, she says you can spend less time at the gym and still get results.

Here are her tips on the Fit List.

1) Keep yourself moving: This will help you burn more calories at the gym and more calories long after your workout is over.

2) Eat less: Jillian says the secret to losing weight is to eat less and move more.

3) Stand up: Stand up as often as possible as standing burns 1.5 more calories than sitting.

"You can burn 200 to 300 calories a day just by standing more.  It's not a replacement for exercise, but when you can't get to the gym, adding that activity, keeping yourself moving and being more active throughout the day, will help you in the long run," Jillian said.
