We all want to look good, and we're willing to pay, but women are paying more than men for products that are essentially the same. Chief Investment Officer of Heartland Financial USA, Nancy Tengler says that even small price disparity can add up over time. “42% of women's products cost more than the comparable men's product. and the average difference in cost is 7% more for women; that can really add up.”
I'm going to apply women's deodorant under my left arm, men's under my right, and skip rope for five minutes. We'll see if there's any difference in how sweaty they get. Apparently I need to hydrate. no sweat in either armpit. But still... no difference!
2. Facial Scrubs
I used the same “invigorating” scrub from Neutrogena. Only the label (men vs. women) was different. But when it came to effectiveness… no difference.
I’ll shave half my face with a men’s razor, half with a women's; half of a leg with each, too. The results are in! Women are getting conned. Don’t pay more for a pink handle on your razor!
Equal price for equal products is what's the deal.
