We've been waiting months for its return and Sunday night it will finally be back for Season 3. We’re talking about PBS’s hit show “Downton Abbey.” If you haven't seen the show, here's why you should.
It's about England's Crawley family and covers their story from the sinking of the Titanic, through World War I. The series stars Hugh Bonneville, Maggie Smith, and Jim Carter. In Season 3, there will be a wee stint with Shirley MacLaine. The show won the Golden Globe for best mini-series and has won 9 Emmies.
The series is also getting rave reviews from Us Weekly, which gave it 4 stars. Then there's the New York Daily News which says it's the best show of 2012. And the Wall Street Journal calls it impossible to resist. “Downton Abbey" also gets The List’s seal of approval.
Seasons 1 and 2 are on DVD and blu-ray. Season 3 premieres Sunday Jan. 6 on PBS.
