2018 Movies: Most Popular Marvel Films in the U.S. Ranked by State
Entertainment The ListThis year is Marvel Studios' 10th anniversary, and we've watched the box office explode with the recent releases of Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2. It's safe to say that Marvel is completely taking over the cinematic universe. CableTV.com, a website that explores viewer habits, analyzed Google search data and found the most popular movie in every state.
1. California
It turns out California loves Iron Man 2 over the other two Iron Man movies. It's not clear why the first or third installments of the film weren't up to par with the Golden State. Other states who also love Tony Stark include Arizona, New Mexico and 13 more.
2. Nevada
When people in Nevada aren't living it up in Vegas, they're staying in watching their favorite Marvel movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The state enjoys some super soldier action, and they weren't alone. Texas and Vermont also favored Mr. America.
3. Oklahoma
Folks in Oklahoma are in love with Avengers: Age of Ultron. The Marvel film was on the top three most liked films in the country, beat by Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk. Other states who loved the action-packed movie include the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Utah and five others.
4. Florida
You better not make Floridians angry, because their favorite Marvel movie is The Incredible Hulk. They can even experience the Hulk's anger themselves on the metal track of "The Incredible Hulk Coaster" at Universal Studios in Orlando. There were 15 states total who favored the movie, including Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, and more.
5. New Jersey
Finally, New Jersey's favorite marvel film is Spiderman: Homecoming. Only three states total agreed that Spiderman was their favorite, including Delaware and Utah.
