Food The ListPart of the joy of Thanksgiving is preparing those delicious side dishes, but if you procrastinated or got a last second invite, then the drive-thru has got your back this year. Teresa Strasser has three crazy-good Turkey Day fast food side dish recipes to be thankful for.
1. “King & Colonel’s” Green Bean Casserole
Ingredients:
4 small Sides of green beans from KFC
1 large order of onion rings from Burger King
1. can of cream of mushroom soup
Directions:
Drain the green beans, add to casserole dish and cover them with 1/3 can of cream of mushroom soup. Now top with the onion rings, bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes and serve.
2. Chick-Fil-Arby’s Mashed Potatoes with Mystery Gravy
Ingredients:
4 orders of large curly fries from Arby’s
4 orders of large waffle fries from Chick-fil-A
Milk from a Happy Meal at McDonald’s
8oz of Chick-fil-A BBQ sauce
2 packs of Arby’s sauce
Chick-fil-A chicken soup
Directions:
Dump all of the fries in a blender, blend until it looks like mashed potatoes and dump in a serving bowl. Then to make your mystery gravy, mix all of your sauces and add a few drops of the Chick-fil-A chicken noodle soup. Add the gravy on top of your potatoes and you’re ready to eat.
3. Mc-Mas Pie Platter
Ingredients:
2 soft serve cups from McDonald’s
10 apple pies from McDonald’s
2 orders of cinnamon twists from Taco Bell
Directions:
Spread out the apples pies on a serving dish, add the ice cream in the middle and top with the cinnamon twist. Simple and so sweet!
