Between getting groceries, putting gas in the car, and trying to go out for a little fun, your wallet can get stretched pretty far. But we at The List think you should be able to have it all – and you can. Jared Cotter and Kristina Guerrero have found 3 trending ways you can get what you want and what you need, without spending more to do it!

1. Plan Ahead

If you know you'll want to attend a big event or go on vacation in year or so, don't wait to save – start saving and planning now! It's better to be too prepared than totally unprepared.

Just ask anyone planning to travel for the next solar eclipse (in 2024). It might be easy to say, "Oh, I have literally years until I have to plan for that." But hotel rooms in the best cities to see the eclipse go on sale in 2022, and that'll be here before you know it. Staying ahead of your financial goals is how you keep your money's future looking bright.

2. Shop Smarter

Whole Foods Markets are known for having healthy food options for every type of diet under the sun; but they're also known for being super expensive. If you've been avoiding the chain, now might be the time to come back and get your money's worth, and you have Amazon to thank.

Now that the company has acquired the fancy foods store, many think that'll make prices go down, which is great for your pantry and your wallet. And if you have Amazon Prime, you might get even more grocery discounts. If you don't, cheaper groceries might be a pretty good incentive.

3. Take Some Chances

As much as you can plan and shop your way to financial success, sometimes you might find success taking a risk or two. This could be playing the lottery, entering a raffle for a cash prize, or watching this Pizza Hut video. Anyone who guesses how many dominos are knocked down in it could win a free Pizza Hut Pizza, every two weeks, for the next sixty years.

Now that's a family dinner deal. Do you know how much money the average family spends on pizza? A lot. So if you have a guess of how many dominos are in this video, send it to HutRewards@PizzaHut.com by August 31st.
