Did you floss today? Don't worry, we won't tell your dentist; but just like you take care of your body through sleep, healthy eating, and exercising, you can't forget about your pearly (or almost) whites! If it's been a while since you've been in a dentist chair, Lindsey Granger is saving you the pre-trip anxiety by giving you these 3 big things your dentist wants you to know about stopping in before you stop in.

1. X-Rays are A-Okay!

Some people are worried that x-rays so close to their heads might be harmful to them, but actually, the amount of radiation exposure you get from a dentist's x-ray is the same as spending some time in the sun! Don't believe us? Just ask Phineas and Ferb!

2. You're Never Too Young For Tooth Decay

We might think of cavities as things that only kids (or adults) who eat too much candy might get, but babies that sleep with bottles in their mouths could be put at risk of getting cavities!

3. Will Chew Gum For Healthy Teeth

The commercials where dentists recommend a certain brand of gum aren't just for show: if your favorite brand of gum has xylitol in it, it's giving your teeth a helping hand and keeping clean!
