Warm weather is here and a lot of coffee drinkers are turning to a cooler option. It’s called cold brew and what was once a trendy way to drink coffee is now a summer staple!
Cold brew coffee is a form of ice coffee that steeps like tea, is less acidic, and has more caffeine. Not only is it cheap, it's easy to make! Brian Corsetti headed to Sip Coffee & Beer House, to get three steps, to make this refreshing and energizing drink, at home!
1. Pick Your Coffee
Get your favorite coarse ground coffee, and put it in a cold brew bag. It's basically a reusable tea bag that only costs around $10.
2. Fill Pitcher
Place the filled bag in a pitcher, get some of the grounds wet before you shut it, and fill the rest of the pitcher up with water.
3. Get Cold
Put the pitcher in your refrigerator and 24 hours later, you have delicious cold brew ready to drink.
It’s really that simple to make your own cold brew coffee at home, and this refreshing drink is sure to have you buzzing this summer!
