3 high-tech kicks that will up your shoe gameTechList The List
When Michael J. Fox rocked those self-lacing sneakers back in the ‘80s it seemed like science fiction, but now a version of these sick kicks will be available to the masses. Bradley Hasemeyer has three high tech shoes you’ll want to wear.
1. Nike HyperAdapt 1.0
This self-lacing sneaker will be available for purchase Nov. 28. When the user steps in, there’s a heal sensor, and the lace engine will run, tighten down the fit system, and then will sense a certain tension around your foot and it'll stop. There’s no word on how much they will cost, but hopefully the rechargeable battery inside is more reliable than the Samsung Note 7.
2. Electric Styles Light Lynk
These have rechargeable LED lights that are sure to be a hit for your next dance party. They start around $40 and come in many styles and colors. Some versions even connect to an app, allowing you to change the color and pattern from your phone.
3. SolePower Ensoles
This is a shoe insole that will use the power you generate by walking to charge battery packs attached to your shoes. About one hour of walking should get you around 30 minutes of cellphone time. Walk the walk, and talk the talk! Once charged, the battery can be used to power gadgets that use USB. They are available to pre-order at for around $200 and come out winter 2016.
