No one likes to wait, but good things come to those who do. What good things, you ask? Oh, just free entry to some of the most beautiful places on earth and even another solar eclipse. If you can be patient enough to make it through this sentence, Jared Cotter and Kristina Guerrero will break down 3 huge upcoming events that will definitely be worth the wait.

1. Eclipse 2: Electric Boogaloo

If you missed this week's solar eclipse, or you're just super pumped for the next one, you'll have to wait until April 8, 2024. It might seem like a long ways away, but not if you fill the time with planning a vacation. According to early reports, the best views for the next eclipse will be in Texas, Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio, and New York.

If you don't think you can wait that long, try to beat your impatience over the next 7 years by visiting each state and seeing which view you think is best. Impatient productivity with a purpose!

2. Spoiler: The Game of Thrones Season Ends

Get ready to go back to binge watching your favorite Game of Thrones characters because after this Sunday's season finale, you'll have to wait at least another year. Production for the next season starts in October, but you can still get your GOT kicks in between then and now.

Try throwing several GOT rewatch parties! You can even DIY a Night's Watch cape to host in – learn how here.

3. This National Park was Made for You & Me

Explore the history and majesty of our national parks by celebrating the National Park Service's birthday this Friday! To help you celebrate, the NPS is waiving entry fees to any national park. You can see America's history for free! And August 25th isn't the only free day.

You can also take advantage of free entry to any park on September 30th, November 11th, and November 12th. What are you waiting for? Find an old favorite or a new park near you here.
