3 inevitable things that finally happened this weekThe List Trending
With all the new tech gadgets, foods, TV shows, etc. coming out this year, it's hard to be surprised by anything nowadays. But even when you know it's just a matter of time before we have plane taxis and fanciful fast food, you might have missed some of the inevitable news online this week; so, let Jared Cotter and Kristina Guerrero confirm your suspicions and fill you in on the rest.
1. What a Sell-Out
If you expected that the Super Nintendo Mini Classic pre-sales were going to sell out, you get a gold star. You can still get the NES Classic on September 29th, but you'll have to get ready to fight the masses in-store. Our tip for making sure you get one? Get in line, like, now. I'm sure your boss/kids/pets will understand.
2. Fly By Traffic
If you made a bet that, eventually, planes will become our taxis, someone owes you a few bucks. The Lilium Jet is looking to eventually become your go-to way to get around, and we are on board – With a jet that can go as fast as a racecar, you'll definitely be beating traffic wherever you're looking to go…but do you think the jet will serve peanuts…?
3. Game of Thrones To-Go
If you've always believed that some companies will do anything to stay on the minds of their customers, you get a round of applause. In honor of Game of Thrones' season finale this Sunday, Arby's is serving Medieval hunks of turkey legs. They'll start going on sale on August 27th, and while I'd love to poke fun at the gimmick – honestly, this is the probably the only thing from Arby's I would actually not be afraid of eating.
Web Bonus: To advertise the new turkey leg promotion, Arby's added pretty entertaining, Game of Thrones-y descriptions of the cities offering the legs. See what Medieval pictures they painted here, via Thrillist.
