When we use social media to come together, we can make big changes in our world. Social media star Casey Neistat teamed up with a few big name celebs like Ben Stiller, Vine star Jerome Jarre, and Colin Kaepernick to raise millions of dollars to help fund relief efforts in Somalia.

If you're inspired to find out more about what you can do to help relief efforts in Somalia, check out Neistat's team's GoFundMe, American Refuge Committee or take action with PublicGood.com where you can donate to the cause or show your support. As for Neistat, he's been an agent of positivity online, even before raising awareness for Somalia relief efforts. Take a deep breath and dive into these three positivity tips of his that helped create some of his most inspiring YouTube videos.

1. Do What You Can't

How many times have you said to yourself, "I can't do that" or "There's no way I could…"? When Neistat was in middle school, his principal told him that he wouldn't amount to anything. But he did; just by believing in himself and believing in his ability to do anything, even when he "couldn't".

2. Make It Count

"You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough." This quote by Mae West is featured prominently in this video by Neistat. Here he inspires us to take every second, experience, and every day and make them memorable, even the moments that feel mundane or like they don't matter. Every experience we have can turn us into someone better than we are and when you make each moment count, you'll make more things matter.

3. Remember What's Most Important

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how many countries you've visited or how many followers you have on a social networking page. What's most important in our lives are the people around us that we experience things with, and Neistat reminds us of that in this video. As long as you've got the right people by your side, the world, online or otherwise, is your oyster.
