This short video from MullenLowe London captures how children define careers as male and female. Teachers asked their students to draw a firefighter, surgeon and a fighter pilot. Out of the all the drawings, 61 were drawn of men and only five were female. See what happens when the students are introduced to a firefighter, surgeon and fighter pilot.

Here are three moments we love from the video:

1. When the teachers ask the kids what they named their firefighter

2. The reaction when the women walk in dressed in their work uniform

3. When the students interact with the women

According to the video, gender stereotypes are defined between the ages of five and seven.
