3 Mouth Watering Next Level Burgers

Football season is back – and with that comes: BURGERS! We met up with Bobby Klaisle, General Manager at PHX Beer Co who shows us how it’s done!

Kicking things off with – The Pepperjam Burger

Start off with a cooked patty and bun of your choice and then start building. Let’s get the basics out of the way: lettuce and tomato. Then add bacon, and smoked mozzarella, and slather on pepper jam. “So you got your sweet… Your spice… A little salty from the bacon…This is the thing that really opens everything up,” Bobby says. Next up is chipotle aioli and for some texture – home-made chips.  (But don’t feel like you need house-made chips – your favorite potato chip will do!)

Grab your stretchy pants! Next up is the 3 Meat Burger

If you’re hungry – this is the burger you’re going to want to make. Start with your cooked patty, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Bobby says he adds on smoked tri-tip (sliced ham is a nice alternative), and applewood bacon – the meat trifecta! “This burger because of all the meats- will have a tendency of getting a little dry- so the runny-ness of the egg will counteract that,” he says, as he advises adding a fried egg. Finish with some chipotle aioli and you’re ready for the big game. 

This last one is a game-changer: The Nacho Burger

Get your basics: cooked patty, lettuce, tomato, and bun. Now, let’s make this magical: “The cheese is gonna be our queso Ro-tel– so it’s got a little green chili and tomato inside the cheese sauce,” Bobby says.  But you can grab any queso dip you like. Then the crowd’s favorite: guacamole. Tortilla strips round this masterpiece out, and for spice: jalapenos. Touchdown!
