With Sony and Microsoft pushing the limits of video game systems, you'd think it would be "game over" for old school consoles like the Sega Genesis and Nintendo Entertainment System, but just like Mario, they seem to have endless lives. Kristina Guerrero has the top three making a comeback!

1.  NES Classic Edition Mini

The iconic Nintendo NES hit us shelves in 1986 with powerful graphics that really packed a punch, and now they just released the mini version. It's pre-loaded with 30 games that are remastered for high-definition televisions and, comes with that classic controller. It’s available in stores and online for around $60, but you'll really have to hunt for it. The NES Mini is one of the hottest toys this holiday season.

2.  Sega Genesis

This awesome system was originally released in 1989 and is also making a comeback. Lovers of Sonic and Street Fighter will get a kick out of being able to use old school game cartridges and download games from the web. Oddly, it's only available in Brazil, for now, but you can expect it on eBay when it ships in early 2017.

3.  Pac‑Man Connect and Play

If you want to go old school and super cheap, try this one. You can pick it up for around $17. When you lose your patience with Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galaga and eight other classic games are also built in.
