3 smart products changing the way we travelTechList The List
When you're making your travel plans for spring break and you look over at your old shabby luggage, you might realize you're due for an upgrade. Jared Cotter found some bags and a lock that really stand out. Their smart, cute, loaded with tech, convenient and are revolutionizing the way we travel.
1. Fugu Luggage
This two-in-one suitcase expands from a carry on to full size in seconds, even though it's hard sided. An air pump inflates it to a large size when you need it, or deflates when you don't. It even has a GPS and battery to charge your devices. One of the best features of Fugu is its unique height and width that gives you a convenient table that you can use anywhere. Pick one up for around $300.
This is possibly the world’s cutest suitcase! It has soft cat ears that wiggle and on the more practical side, it'll charge your phone – but who cares because it looks like too much fun. You can get updates on Kickstarter where it was successfully funded. It will eventually retail for around $360.
If you already have luggage but need a lock then this TSA approved travel lock is perfect. You control with your smartphone and it will unlock automatically when your phone is near simply by entering a password. If you don't have your phone, you can unlock it manually. AirBolt even has an alarm with GPS if someone tries to nab your bag. It goes for $80 and will ship in April.
