3 smart sensors changing home health careTechList The List
Technology is changing our day-to-day lives and this continues to grow with each year. One field that is seeing a positive effect is the health care industry — so much so that consumer products are now coming out that will make it less necessary to go see a doctor. Jared Cotter has some smart sensors that will help with your vitamin levels, monitor your diet and track your heart activity.
1. Vitastiq 2
This is a device that wants to track your vitamin levels, from A to Z. The idea is you touch the device to your skin for a few seconds and through their app, you see which vitamins or minerals you might need to boos. You can pick one up for around $136.
2. OneX Sensor
This cool gadget is a ball intended to measure your antioxidant levels. After you hold it in the palm of your hand, it gives you your results of your diet, alcohol consumption, physical activity, daily stress and even sun exposure on their app. You can preorder one for around $170.
3. Kardia Mobile
This is a device designed to help your heart. Just hold your fingers on their pad for 30 seconds and get your results through their app on your smartphone. It’s basically an at home electrocardiogram. With that data your doctor should be able to catch a heart issue before it gets worse. Pick one up for around $100.
