The idea of running your first 5K marathon can be a scary thought, but you can do it! Donna Ruko has three ways to get off the couch and into a race.
1. Find the Right Shoes
The most common mistake is that people tend to wear their shoes too small. If your feet or falling asleep you probably suffer from this problem. Try goes up by one full-size when buying running shoes.
2. Hit the Pavement
A lot of people tend to let themselves get psyched out at the whole idea before they even get started. Remember, you don't have to run the entire time, but if that's your goal – go for the gold!
3. Pick the Right 5K for You
