If you've seen enough Star Wars films to want to become a Jedi yourself, we've got a few tips for you from photographer, Josh Rossi. For their family's 2017 Christmas card, the Rossis decided they'd do something a little different this year. Instead of posing in front of a Christmas tree or in matching sweaters, holding candy canes, the Rossi family decided they'd awaken their force instead - and you can too - with these 3 tips:
1. Get Inspired
What kind of Jedis do your family members remind you of? A youngling? A Padawan? A Grand Master? Or do they remind you of other characters from the Star Wars world? The Rossi's family photo was inspired by the film poster for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and you too can create something special by taking inspiration from portraits of your favorite characters.
2. Practice Your Power Poses
You can't be a Jedi without at least one pose that says, "I am not the one to mess with today." So, get the whole family in front of the mirror so you can all practice channeling your inner force for the camera.
3. Go All Out with the Extras
You can be a Jedi in plain clothes, but the whole family will definitely feel strong in a replica of your favorite character. So, bring out the major costumes! Bust out those awesome light sabers. You'll be surprised how much more you'll feel the Jedi strength inside of you when you just put on the right hood or nail the right hairdo.
