4 Epic Lip Sync Videos That Feel Good & Do GoodThe List Trending
The holiday season is about love for humankind, giving thanks, and lending a hand – but don't think that helping your fellow man has to be boring! We found 4 hilarious, and just plain awesome, charity lip sync performances, unlike any you've seen before. They'll make you as happy as the millions that love them on social media, but even cooler than that: they'll show you just how fun it can be to do good for others.
1. "Jump" for Good
If you love '80s hits and need a quick pick me up today, this is the video for you. Not only will the star of the video's impressive – and hilarious – dance moves make you smile, but the reason behind her cross-town lip sync performance will too.
This viral lip sync video was made by the people at the Community Action Partnership of Strafford County to raise awareness about the group's annual Lip Sync Battle event this year! The profits from the event will help fund the awesome work they do to combat poverty and help uplift and support over 25,000 people and working families in New Hampshire. To keep up with their incredible work and events, like the CAPSC Facebook page or head to their website!
2. Uptown Presidential Funk
To help raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics Illinois's Area 6 athletes and their families, the organization put on an epic lip sync battle. One of the most entertaining performances came from "Kathy and the Clerks", featuring County Clerk Kathy Michael, dressed in her Bruno Mars best.
The group did their performance to the Mars hit, "Uptown Funk", but what makes this lip sync extra special is its attention to detail from the music video, from Kathy's rockin' blazer and chain, to the surprise guest making a sweet, four-wheeled entrance. And the fact that the group was able to get a couple of presidents involved, despite their surely busy schedules, well, that's just the icing on the cake.
3. Doing Good with Hot Sundae
Fans of Saved by the Bell will love this throwback lip sync performed at this year's GROOV3 Charity Lip Sync Battle. The lip syncing group did a dance-move-by-dance-move remake of the of the music video for the song "Go For It" by the girl pop trio "Hot Sundae", made of Jessie Spano, Kelly Kapowski, and Lisa Turtle – and it's incredible, which is probably why they won the whole event!
Aside from making you super nostalgic for 80s music videos and workout clothes, watching this performance will also make you feel good knowing the proceeds went on to raise money for the Passion for Dance Project, a non-profit dedicated to making dance classes available to all.
4. Smooth Criminals Steal Our Hearts
While competing in a charity lip sync, the MIT Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity took lip syncing and music video recreation to a whole new level with their rendition of Michael Jackson's classic "Smooth Criminal". From the skits in the video, to the suits, group dance moves, even the MJ moonwalk, the fraternity goes all out for this one, and you'll love every minute of it.
