Going on a summer road trip is a great way to spend time with the family, but why not mix it up this year? There are some fun and unique roadside attractions out there just waiting to create great new memories. Jared Cotter has the top three spots across America you should visit.

1.  Bormida, Italy

The idea of living in Old World Italy sounds like a crazy dream, and crazy expensive, but the village of Bormida has been all over the news lately for Mayor Daniele Galliano's offer of $2,100 to move there. There's a beautiful church and with just 394 people, you'll have no problem getting a seat at one of the 4 restaurants – at least for now! With an overwhelming response already there might not be any cash available until 2018.

2.  New Haven, Connecticut

The city is offering $10,000 in forgivable loans if you are a first-time homebuyer. For any home in new haven there are also forgivable loans of up to $30,000 for energy-savings upgrades.

3.  Kansas

There are 76 other counties in Kansas, like Kingman, that are offering income tax waivers for up to five years to new residents.

4.  Pipestone, Manitoba

We're staying up north in Canada, and the Rural Municipality of Pipestone. You can get up to $32,000 in cash back for the construction of a new business, or you can purchase a lot for residential development for $10.
