4 Tips to Keep Your Smartphone Charged
TechList The ListA new study has revealed that nine out of ten smartphone users suffer from a new phobia — the fear of running out of juice on our smartphones. If running low on your battery life is giving you anxiety, Bradley Hasemeyer and psychologist Joanna Jablonski have four tips that will keep you charged up.
1. Battery Management Apps
Try a battery management app like Battery Doctor for iOS, or DU Battery Saver for Android. These apps help manage power hungry apps, and claim to give you up to fifty percent more battery life.
2. Rapid Charger
You can now supercharge your phone with rapid charging technology from companies like Anker. With the quick charge 3.0 you can go from zero to 85 percent in about thirty minutes. These are on Amazon for about $16.
3. Low-Cost Charging Cables
You can grab quality cables for your Android and iPhone for less than $20 on Amazon or Best Buy. Keep them in your car, office, and home so you are always able to charge your phone.
4. Mophie Juice Pack
The Mophie battery cases for Android and iOS can double your battery life and range from $14- $100, depending on the phone model.
BONUS: External Battery Packs
There are many cheap external battery options that start out at $11. You'll always be ready to charge if you keep one of these on hand.
