Beer has been around as long as man — or at least it seems that way. Over the last decade we've seen some major changes in the industry with craft beer breweries popping up all over the country — giving companies like Anheuser-Busch and Coors Brewing Company some stiff competition. If you're new to the craft beer world, or have been enjoying this hot trend for years, we have five that will make your 2017 even more awesome than it already is.

1.  Blah Blah Blah IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV):  8.00%

IPA (India pale ale) beers are one of the trendiest beers right now and this one by 21st Amendment Brewery is one of the best of the best. You’re not going to want to shotgun this one since it’s got such a high alcohol volume – sipping only. That way you can take in all the hoppy goodness.

2.  Key Lime Pie Gose

Alcohol by volume (ABV):  4.00%

Forget the pie and drink your dessert! This refreshing beer by Westbrook Brewing Co. goes down smooth with a great lime kick. It's so sweet you'll be going back for seconds.

3.  Innis And Gunn Original Oak Aged Beer

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6.60%

Aging beer in oak barrels is very popular right now and with good reason. This enhances all of the flavors and creates the ultimate tasting experience. You’ll notice a hint of vanilla and toffee in this sweet beer by Innis & Gunn brewery.

4.  Left Hand Milk Stout

Alcohol by volume (ABV):  6.00%

It sounds crazy, but this creation by Left Hand Brewing Company is like chocolate milk mixed with beer, and it’s so good you’ll think you’ve gone to Beer Heaven.

5.  Stay Puft

Alcohol by volume (ABV):  5.20%

This beer by Tiny Rebel not only has brilliant branding — it’s also delicious. They manage to successfully mix a yummy marshmallow flavor with a smoky roasted malt that will have you buzzing.
