The 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards are happening this Sunday on CBS. We're very excited for the performances, but even more to see who's bringing home the trophy for best music video. In the meantime, here's a look at the top three nominees.

1. Miranda Lambert

If someone knows a thing or two about the Academy of Country Music Awards, it's Miranda Lambert. She's the most decorated female ever with 25 awards total and on Sunday could add another three, including one for best video for "We Should be Friends."

2. Kelsea Ballerini

Next is a lady looking to dethrone Miranda as Female Artist of the Year and Best Video. People have been loving Kelsea since she won Best Female Artist two years ago. She sells out concerts, has five  Billboard Hot 100 hits, and her nominated video tells the beautiful tale of a tragic love story.

3. Dierks Bentley

It's not just the ladies in the running for music video awards. There's also Dierks Bentley's song "Black" as a strong contender. Whatever color his world is, his video is red hot and stars his wife Cassidy Star. It's his only nomination this year. Perhaps it's a consolation prize after he and Luke Bryan were replaced by Reba as co-hosts of the show.

4. Thomas Rhett

Another song about love but a different message is Thomas Rhett's "Marry Me." The song is up for Video of the Year and it's a story of a what-if situation about crushing hard but not making a move. He's also up for three other awards and his dad is up for songwriter of the year. This could very well turn out to be one winning father-son duo.

5. Brothers Osborne

And finally, here's another talented family – Brothers Osborne and their hit song "It Ain't My Fault." The dynamic brothers won big last year as Best New Vocal Duo or Group and Best Vocal Duo. They're looking to add a win Sunday for their "point break" inspired music video.

Regardless of who you're rooting for this Sunday, one thing's for sure: it'll be one star-studded country celebration worth watching!
