One positive impact of the pandemic was a renewed focus on our mental health, no longer stigmatized we entering an era where hopefully, we understand how to deal with these issues when they come up. With children though, it can be a tough talk with your kids about how they’re doing, what pressures they face at school, and how to deal with their feelings. We reached out to our friend, Leanna Stockard, a licensed family therapist from LifeStance Health to learn some ways we can talk to school-aged kids about the mental health topics that affect many of them, starting with transition jitters.
