Baltimore, Maryland is a city rich in culture and history. Even for locals, there are so many sights to see that it’s hard to know where to start! So we’re venturing through Baltimore and rounding up the best places to visit. Here are five ways to feel like a tourist in your own town!

1. Fort McHenry 

Our first stop is a Fort McHenry. This is where the bravery of its citizen soldiers at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine saved a fledgling U.S. and inspired the National Anthem. In this historic location, you can even unroll a full-sized replica of the Star-Spangled Banner or see a cannon-firing. Definitely a stop every Baltimore local should visit! 

2. The Sagamore Spirit Distillery 

Next, we head to Sagamore Spirit Distillery. Rye Whiskey is an old tradition in Maryland, and you can tour the distillery and taste some award-winning whiskies. Maryland is known to be the leader of Rye Whiskey and it continues to be synonymous with superior quality. 

3. Oriole Park at Camden Yards 

Now, we bring you a stadium that’s influenced the way baseball stadiums across America are built. It’s Oriole Park at Camben Yards, a ballpark where you can feel the spirit of Baltimore, Maryland all around. 

4. Inner Harbor 

The Inner Harbor is one of the best tourist attractions you can find in Baltimore, Maryland. You can eat at any of the amazing seafood restaurants on the harbor or bring the little ones to adventure. There are so many fun places for kids, including the Port Discovery Children’s Museum, The Maryland Zoo, and the National Aquarium. 

5. Little Italy in Baltimore

Finally, we couldn’t leave without bringing you a look into Little Italy. This neighborhood celebrates the roots of Italian immigrants, and you can eat amazing foods, play games, and experience the culture.
