Breakfast Pizza: 3 Easy Pizza Topping Ideas to Try for Breakfast
HitListRise and shine! It’s time for…breakfast pizza? Yes, please! Doug Doyle, co-owner of Fired Pie in Phoenix, Arizona, showed us three different pizza topping ideas to cook up for breakfast.
1. The Western Breakfast Pizza
First on our list of breakfast pizza topping ideas is The Western, which is sort of like an omelet on toast – except you won’t need a knife and fork to eat it! To make this at home, start by picking up some dough at the store – then comes the fun stuff! “We just did it up with alfredo sauce, cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon and green peppers and red onion,” shares Doug. Then toss in the oven for four minutes on high and voila – breakfast is served!

2. Veggie Pizza Topping Ideas
Now here’s one of those breakfast pizza topping ideas that’s both healthy and super easy to make! For this veggie version, Doug uses garlic oil, scrambled eggs and mozzarella cheese. You can then add from a variety of vegetables, like green peppers, bell peppers, mushrooms and spinach. Doug says to load up on the veggies by grabbing whatever you happen to have left over in the fridge. No wonder he affectionately calls this “empty fridge pizza”.
