When we celebrate the beauty of our land, we tend to focus on what's above ground – but there are also some great things down below! Read on to learn about the coolest caves across America.

1. Carlsbad Caverns – Carlsbad, New Mexico

We start our adventure at the Carlsbad Caverns in Carlsbad, New Mexico. You can take a tour of this natural wonderland, or if you're more adventurous you can go self-guided! Watching thousands of bats exit the caverns at sunset is a fan favorite.

2. Bridge Caverns – New Braunfuls, Texas

Next we head to natural Bridge Caverns in New Braunfuls, Texas. It was discovered by a group of college kids back in the 60s who had no idea what they were about to uncover. Today their discovery allows millions to visit mother nature's underground den. Take a walk 180 feet below the ground to see incredible formations that are still being created today.

3. Mammoth Cave – Cave City, Kentucky.
