Who doesn’t love some good ol’ fashion Christmas trains – especially when the halls are decked and cabins are stocked with  goodies. Grab your ticket and hop in, because The List’s highlighting three  festive Christmas trains to rides across America.

1. Polar Express – Williams, AZ  

We’re starting our trail of Christmas trains with the Polar Express in Williams, Arizona. Throw on your favorite holiday jammies as the popular children’s book comes to life. In this train ride, you’ll sit back, relax and enjoy a magical ride to the North Pole. After enjoying some chocolate chip cookies and a reading of the classic story, make sure to look out the window to see Santa’s sleigh being pulled by reindeer. Santa even pops in for a little visit! Experience the magic starting at around $35 on select dates from now through January.

2. The Christmas Tree Train – Durango, CO

Next, we’re making our way to the Christmas Tree Train in Durango, Colorado. The days of going to lots of places to pick out your Christmas tree are finally over. You can hop on this train and relax while it takes you through Cascade Canyon. Then, prepare to cut down your own Christmas tree and they’ll even haul it back for you. This is one of those Christmas trains you’ll remember forever! Create your own memory by snagging tickets for about $44 on select Saturdays this month through December.

3. Christmas City Express – Deluth, MN

Last on our list of Christmas trains is the Christmas City Express in Deluth, Minnesota. In this train ride, you’ll enjoy carolers, book readings and who knows? Maybe Santa will make a special appearance. Grab a couple cookies, some hot cocoa and hop back on for more! Train rides start at around $16 and run weekends now through December 22nd.
