Coffee Buzz: 3 Ways to Make Latte Art at HomeFood The List
Latte art is steaming its way into coffee shops all over! Coffee addict, Brian Corsetti hit up Sip Coffee and Beer Bar, to learn how to spruce up your latte, with three awesome art options you can make at home.
1. The Heart
This one is by far the easiest. Think of the milk stream as being like someone jumping into a pool from a diving board, and think of the espresso in the cup as being the water in the pool, the position.
2. The Tulip
If you've got the heart down, then the tulip is the next level up. Where you drop the milk makes a big impact on the symmetry. If you pour the cup sitting flat on the counter top it won’t give you much depth for the foam to settle.
3. The Rosetta
Pouring too much too fast will disrupt and even disintegrate the crema on the espresso. Start high and slow, then bring it down low. Then finish it off by increasing the flow.
Now you’re ready to impress your friends with these three awesome works of latte art. ENJOY!
