Backyard sheds can be so much more than just storage for tools. Teresa Strasser met up interior designer Kalen Mehlman to get some simple tips to create a fun Kid Shed out of a TuffShed for under $500.
1. Cozy Corner
Make a space where kids can come and chill out, grab a book, get cozy and decompress. Add a fuzzy rug and the little ones will love it.
2. Creative Corner
Inspire the kids to create by giving them the opportunity to draw. Get some Mason jars to hold all of their art supplies.
3. Costume Corner
Kick this corner off with a hanging disco ball. Pick up some costumes at the store and then incorporate items like dads' old tie and hat. It will invite kids to play and have fun.
Be sure to watch next week for a new TuffShed makeover!
Big thanks to TuffShed!
