Delicious Dough: 3 Easy Biscuit Meals

Looking to mix it up in the kitchen? Donna Ruko is taking plain biscuit dough and turning it into delicious treats. Here are three easy and delicious recipes you can make at home using simple ingredients.

1.  Biscuit Doughnuts

Ingredients:

1 tube of biscuits

¼ cup of sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon

vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil on low-medium
  2. Cut doughnut holes with an empty water bottle
  3. Fry the dough for about a minute or until golden brown
  4. Turnover and fry the other side
  5. Place fried dough on a paper towel to cool.
  6. Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl
  7. Toss the doughnut into the bowl and cover with sugar

2.  Fiesta Pies

Ingredients:

2 tubes of large layered biscuits

1 lb of ground meat

1 taco seasoning packet

1 can of green chillies

1 can of enchilada sauce

1 can of refried beans

1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Cook meat to directions on taco seasoning
  3. Oil the inside of a muffin pan
  4. Peel the biscuits in half
  5. Line the muffin pan with the halved biscuits
  6. Fill the biscuits with a small layer of beans, meat, enchilada sauce, chillies, and cheese
  7. Cover the biscuits with the other half of the biscuit
  8. Bake for 20 minutes
  9. Drizzle each one with leftover enchilada sauce

3.  Pizza Knots

Ingredients:

1 tube of biscuits

1 jar of pizza sauce

1 package of pepperonis

½ cup of cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Oil inside of a muffin pan
  3. Line the muffin pan with the biscuits with a little hanging over
  4. Fill the biscuits with pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni
  5. Twist the extra dough into knots
  6.  Bake for 20 minutes
