There’s nothing better on a hot summer day than a great movie, mixed with a delightful beverage! Today Donna Ruko is wetting your whistle, with some of most beloved cocktails in film, and the recipes, so you can make them at home. See you at the corner of Hollywood & Wine!

1.  Piña Colada

Jason Segel in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" enjoyed them, but Milton in "Office Space," not so much.

The birthplace of this cocktail is Puerto Rico where it serves as their national drink. This tropical drink is a mixture of white rum, coconut milk, and pineapple juice.

2.  Mint Julep

Robert Duvall schooled Aaron Eckhart about the concoction in "Thank You for Smoking."

A drink that's synonymous with the Kentucky Derby, this southern cocktail was created in 1784 as a cure for digestive ailments. Just mix whiskey, sugar, water, and at least 4 mint leaves, and a classy joint to drink it in.

3.  Sangria

Melissa McCarthy got a wild buzz in the comedy, "Tammy."

This Spanish cocktail is over two thousand years old, and is believed to have been originated by the Romans, who sanitized their water by adding wine. Sangria is a combination of red wine, fruit juice or chopped fruit, and brandy.

Cocktails we love to see in the movies, and in a glass, in our hand! Cheers!
