Easter 2018: 4 Easy DIY Easter Baskets – From Under $15 to High-End!DIY The List
Easter is almost here! If you haven't started getting those baskets ready, then hop to it. This year, the Easter Bunny tasked us with creating three different gift baskets – ranging from budget-friendly to higher-end. Read on for four Easter baskets you can make at home.
1. Budget Basket
Let’s start with the budget basket. Don't let your spending spin out of control – you can get brand name Easter items at the 99 cents store. This budget basket features toys, snacks, and candy. Toss in whichever Easter favorites you wish – like Peeps, chocolates, and stuffed animals. All for dirt cheap prices!
2. Last Minute Basket
Next up, we hopped on down to Safeway for a last-minute basket. If you’re short on time and on a budget, this could be the perfect option for you. “We have a fantastic assortment of baskets,” shares Nancy Keane from Safeway. “All you have to do is come in and grab and go. The prices range anywhere from $15 to $20.” Nancy says you can also customize your own basket with all kinds of goodies and plush toys.
3. Boojie Basket
Our last stop on the bunny trail is the fifty dollar "bougie basket". We got this basket kit from Michaels, which comes with a cute basket and two kinds of grass. First, we filled it up with Korbel rosé in a nice Easter-friendly color. Then we threw in some olives, cheese and crackers, a Lindt chocolate bunny, and blinged it up with some jewelry. Voila!
