Twitter is still buzzing about Zara. The fashion line is urging women to love their curves, but still using models in their new campaign. Now a new documentary called Embrace directed by Taryn Brumfitt is trying to put it all in perspective and saying we have to love our bodies as is.
This inspired Kristina Guerrero to take a closer look at how we can all embrace our bodies.
1. Your Body is a Vehicle
When climbing a mountain, so many people get to the top and check their watch to see how many calories they’ve burned. Instead you should get to the top of the mountain and take a look around. Enjoy the journey to the top, not the step count!
2. Think About Your Last Breath
What is it that you'll be thinking about when you take your final breath on this earth? What thoughts will be going through your mind? It probably won’t be your cellulite or my stretch marks because they actually don't matter.
3. Remember to Laugh
People take life way too seriously. We are here for such a short amount of time so let's have some fun along the way. That includes how your body looks. Embrace it and love it!
