Fashion with a Message: 3 Ways to Work it & Where You Can Get It
Stylist The ListFashion has always functioned as a reflection of the world and especially now with the recent election politics. That’s why this season is all about brands that have a message Jared Cotter has three hot options to rock this popular style.
1. T-Shirts
Prabal Gurung’s fall 2017 show had quite the finale. Instead of a recap of the show, models in t-shirts walked the runway. Prabal wants his brand to get people talking. The tees don’t come cheap. For $130 you too can get a shirt that makes a statement.
2. Bandana
For a covert message you can tie on a white bandana. The peeps at The Business of Fashion created a movement called #tiedtogether. Wearing it means you believe in the common bonds of human kind. The movement kicked off at the Tommy Hilfiger show and models like Gigi Hadid walked the runway sporting it.
3. Pins
You may have noticed Hollywood star Emma Stone wearing this metal pin to pick up her Oscar at the Academy Awards. It supports what has become a polarizing topic, the Planned Parenthood organization. If you’re for it or just need a metal accent for your clothes the pin is offered on their website for about $5.
