Heck, even if you're just an adult that loves to make cool stuff - everyone can enjoy this Soda Pop Slime recipe! And just about anyone can make it. Teresa Strasser shows you how to add some slime to your summer, with a couple of special guests.
The coolest thing about this slime - it's taste safe! No borax. No glue. No chemicals. No nothin'. In 30 minutes, this recipe will make you a cup of Soda Pop Slime that you can pull, squish, and, yes, even lick - just don't make a meal out of it - there's not enough protein.
A microwave safe mixing bowl (the deeper, the better)
Crush singles to-go drink mix (or 1 Tbsp. of another sugar-free/artificially sweetened drink mix)
1 Tbsp. Metemucil
1 cup warm water
Start by mixing the Metemucil and water, making sure to stir well. Add in the drink mix, then stir again.
Microwave the mixture for 2 minutes - it should be bubbling. After taking it out of the microwave, stir quickly. Then microwave for another minute. Stir again. Then microwave for another 2 minutes.
Let the mix cool at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before handling.
And when you're done playing, store the slime in a ziplock bag or air tight container at room temperature!
