Go Medieval! 3 ways you can learn to fight like a knightEntertainment The List
If Game of Thrones, The Crown, and all those other Medieval-y, kings, queens, and knights shows make you think, "I could totally be a Lord or Lady back in the day," we've got your chance to prove it. Kristina Guerrero is showing you 3 ways you can bone up on your medieval skills this summer, from jousting and arching to axe throwing; no time machine required.
If you're brave of heart, hold your honor very high, and like a bit of an adrenaline rush, this is the Medieval skill for you. You could go all the way to jousting school, but if a jousting degree isn't for you, try checking out a trampoline park nearby.
Sky Zone Trampoline Park has locations across the country and their jousting prices start at just $14 – Very affordable for every Lord and Lady.
If you tend to be more observant than talkative, are super focused, goal-oriented, and patient, you might have been an archer in your past Medieval life. Hone your archery skills with an archery class, or with a way more fun way: with archery tag!
The arrows are tipped with soft foam so if you get hit by one, you'll still be able to adventure. Learn how to knock out targets, shoot through hoops, and how to knock out opponents. Find an archery tag location near you here!
3. Axe Throwing
If your Medieval self would be brash, passionate, bashing, and ruthless, then axe throwing might be the fight style for you. You'll learn to throw axes the right way with trained axe throwing coaches. Then compete against an opponent for points for hitting targets.
The company Bad Axe Throwing has venues across America and it's $10 for thirty minutes of play at their locations.
