You don’t have to ride with Uber or Lyft to cruise in a car that isn’t yours. Car-sharing is growing more and more popular every day. According to a study by the Boston Consulting Group, a quarter of all miles driven in U.S. could be in ride share cars by 2030. If you want to get into the mix, are three free and creative car sharing apps.

1. TURO

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a group of strangers help with your car payment?! TURO features more than 160 thousand vehicles on its app and website.  Cars range from luxury to modest and everything in between. The service is available in all 50 states, and prices start at $20 a day.

2. HyreCar

The next cool car-sharing service is called HyreCar! Just log on to the app, search for a car in your area, and pick the dates you want to drive it. The daily rates start at $35 bucks, and it’s available in most states. And don’t fret! The app conducts a background check and insures both the driver and vehicle owner. Plus, each time you rent a car, you’re assigned a personal agent to help answer any questions you may have.

3. Drive Share

Last on our list is DriveShare! Want a 1985 Lamborghini? You got it! This app allows you to rent the classic car of your dreams from a collector in your area.  In addition to turning heads, the company says this niche service can help a car collector keep their vintage toy running smoothly by keeping it on the road. As many as 135 different exotic vehicles are currently available across the U.S. ranging from under $100 to over $1000 a day.

From driverless cars to Uber taking people to their healthcare appointments, car-sharing is changing the way we live!
