HGTV is giving away their smart home of 2017 and it's loaded with amazing features and technology. Donna Ruko is taking a tour with the homebuilder Jim Audiss to find out what you can expect from houses of the future and how to incorporate some of it into your own home.

1.  Tech That Simplifies Your Life

Let’s start with the Samsung smart fridge which really is a cool computer. If you want to know what's inside just push a button. Then head over to the wet bar with a wine station that dispenses a perfect pour.

2.  Tech That Anticipates Your Entrance

Almost everything is smart in this amazing home including the toilets. They open when you enter the bathroom. It even has automated shades that open and close on their own.

3.  Tech That Protects Your Home

Smart locks are great retro-fit items that you can put on yourself in about 10 minutes. Then connect the lock to your phone. You can even install a security system. Some now are literally a peel and stick alarm system you don't have to wire. You just set up a base station that connects to your wireless router that then talks to every single piece that you add to the home.

This one-of-a-kind home of the future is up for grabs as a part of HGTV's Smart Home 2017 sweepstakes and you can enter for your chance to win HERE.
