How to Create the Ultimate Super Salad

When it comes to leafy greens, lettuce seems to get no love. But it turns out that many lettuces are actually the superheroes of produce, packing vitamins, minerals and antioxidants into a variety of greens. Watch as clinical nutritionist Christina D’Amico shows us how to beef up our salads with a colorful makeover.

 

Super Salad Ingredients

A handful or approximately 1 cup of each salad type: Napa cabbage, chard, and collard greens
Add colorful toppings of choice

1/3 cup chopped peppers
Sprinkle of tortilla strips
