Between Game NightBlockers, and Death of Stalin, it's shaping up to be a banner year for comedy movies – and there's more to come! Here's a list of four comedies coming to theaters on our Hot List.

1. I Feel Pretty

A lot of people can relate, but I Feel Pretty gives a comedic twist on what happens when you think you've become a knockout – and you're suddenly beaming with confidence. Amy Schumer stars as the "transformed" Renee, while Busy Phillips and Aidy Bryant portray her side kicks. See the power of self-worth in theaters April 20th.

2. Super Troopers 2

Next is a cult classic sequel that took 17 years and a crowdfunding campaign to make. Super Troopers 2 will see the Vermont State Troopers taking on Mounties in a dispute over the Canadian border. Hands on the hood on April 20th.

3. Overboard

A role reversal is afoot in the remake of the Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell vehicle, now starring Anna Farris and Eugenio Derbez. This time, Overboard revolves around a single mother who's looking for revenge after a rich snob fires her and gets amnesia. We'll see how that goes for someone who has never worked a day in his life. Also starring Eva Longoria, the film goes overboard May 4th.

4. Tully

And finally, here's a movie about the difficulty of motherhood – and one woman's solution. Tully will be showing us that being a mom can be exhausting. But lucky for this mother, her brother gifts her a night nanny – though she's reluctant at first. The movie stars academy winner Charlize Theron, Mackenzie Davis, and Mark Duplass. The Sundance Film Festival-featured movie gets a wide release May 4th.

2018 might be the year for comedies on the big screen, and here's your go-to guide on the movies you should add to your next date night.
