1. Know Your Audience
Millennials now make up the largest portion of the job force however their bosses are still coming from the Generation X or the baby boomer generation. Make sure you know who your future boss is.
2. Keep It Relevant
Only include what helps you get that job and don't forget a skills section to help hiring managers know what you really excel at and how many years of experience you have.
3. Sell the Sizzle
You have to realize that the average time spent on a resume by a hiring manager when you apply is less than 60 seconds so you want to do to stand out be interesting. It's much like Tinder than and to get them to swipe right you need to really sell yourself.
