3 Drinks to Help You Celebrate Man’s First Moon LandingHitList
If you’re planning to party by watching one of the many moon landing documentaries, we have the perfect pairing: lunar cocktails! Mixologist PJ Baron of the ‘60s chic ZuZu bar at the Valley Ho Hotel says you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to make these at home.
1. The Launch Limeade
1 oz. Santan Kaffir Lime Vodka
½ oz. Luxardo Maraschino
½ oz. Luxardo Sangue Morlacco
½ oz. barrel-aged limoncello
2 oz. Limeade (2:1 Lemonade to fresh lime juice)
Build all in mixing glass and shake with ice. Strain over new ice in tall glass. Top with Dippin’ Dots with Popping Candy (or try Frozetti Confetti for more color!)
3 oz. Tang
3 oz. Champagne
½ oz. Agavero Orange
Pour each item in a Champagne flute. Top with Campari-Infused Blood Orange Foam and garnish with edible gold flakes.
3. Cape Canaveral
1 ½ oz Frankly Organic Vodka
½ oz Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
½ oz Cranberry Juice
2 oz Port-Date Syrup
Top with ginger beer, stir to mix.
Feeling thirsty yet?! Now all you need are some nifty Apollo 11 commemorative cups. Cheers!
