There are a wild new range of baking flours hitting the market, from tapioca, to chickpea, but one in particular is getting a lot of buzz, and today, Bradley Hasemeyer is going to make banana bread with it. And he won’t find out what the secret ingredient is, until the taste-test in the end!
1. Mix It Up
Fist up, you’re going to mix the mystery flour with baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Then you’re going to sift it all together.
Mystery Flour Hint 1: It has about 70g of protein, which is about twice as much as a cup of beef.
2. Get Crackin’
Up next, add sugar, and egg. Now you’re going to whisk this altogether until it's nice and fluffy.
Mystery Flour Hint 2: It's really high in fiber, which means it good for your digestion, and it might even have anti-inflammatory properties.
Now just slowly add the oil while mixing.
Mystery Flour Hint 3: It’s a highly versatile ingredient that is grain-free, gluten-free, paleo, and can be used in a variety of recipes.
4. Yummy Flavors
Add banana, yogurt, and vanilla.
Mystery Flour Hint 4: It's super sustainable. It can be grown pretty much anywhere, with very little land or water.
5. Fold It Up
Throw in some chocolate chips to the mystery flour. Extra chocolate chips. And simply fold it into the mix.

6. So Hot
Bake it for 50 minutes at 330 degrees, and get ready for the reward.
